American Legion Auxiliary
Department of Texas
Scrapbook
Plans of Work
2007 - 2008

The scrapbook is a visual history of your Unit/District/Division/Junior Activities.  It is an opportunity for the compiler to illustrate the year’s activities with pictures, newspaper articles and memorabilia collected throughout the year.

The scrapbook should document the work of the members toward the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Texas Programs’ Plans of Work.  Also include your social and community events as well as volunteer work over the course of the year. The Scrapbook can also be a very helpful tool when filling out your annual Reports. Every thing is right there in pictures and print.

Before compiling this scrapbook, the compiler should choose from Department President Charlie’s two themes:<

    1)    Overall Theme    We Believe
        Or
    2)    Membership Theme    “Racing for Membership, the Texas 500”

You will use the theme that you choose throughout the scrapbook.

Enter your scrapbook at Department Convention in Corpus christi.  Check the Convention Program for the time and date of checking in your books and Judging.
